Provenance: 1981 Chassis 10 is the 1981 South African GP winner driven by Carlos Reuteman.

1981 March 13 – 15: 1981 FIA F1 World Championship Long Beach USA. Spare car for Alan Jones competition no. 1: used during 1st and 3rd practice.

1981 March 25th Rio de Janeiro Brazil test: Used by Alan Jones.

1982 –1983. At the disposal of Williams benefactor Count Giuseppe Zanon for private test driving at leisure.

1984 – 1988. Storage at Williams factory in Didcot.

1989 – 1995. Prime exhibit at the Williams Conference Centre and Grand Prix Collection in Grove Oxfordshire.

1996. Goodwood Festival of Speed, 1st place fastest time Jonathan Palmer

1997. Goodwood Festival of Speed, Jason Plato demonstration.

2000. Goodwood Festival of Speed, Alan Jones demonstration.

2000 – 2004. On loan to the Donnington Grand Prix Collection.

2005 Purchased directly from Sir Frank Williams by current owner

2005 to 2013. Competitively campaigned throughout North America supported by Lee Chapman Racing and has been the car to beat. 6 wins from 9 starts!


The car comes with a plethora of spares and holds current FIA papers. All Williams paperwork including a signed letter of authenticity is present.
